Exploring the fantastically restored/preserved palace with another impressive audio guide was very enjoyable. Never thought I would feel sorry for Henry. Maybe the presentation was more sympathetic for him in an historical context rather than the pro-Catholic education I was given. Historical context is everything really and I found myself far more sympathetic to him than I ever thought possible - interesting.
I met Madeleine and family at Twikernam Green after her physio appointment for an early pizza dinner. A play on the Green with Rob and the girls while waiting for Madeleine continued to show Annalise's energy and enthusiasm for life.
We parted after pizza dinner with the intention of me catching the bus but as I walked towards Twikernam it was such a lovely evening I decided to have a sunset Thames walk home. Just lovely. Another 26000 step day. Lots of river side walks was my hope of this holiday and I have been able to do quite a few.
