Last Day Wearing London Tourist Hat

Headed to the city for London city immersion. Straight to Harrods to marvel at retail experience times 100!

Joined one of the double decker open top bus tours. The sun shone but the air temp less than 10. Great to get an elevated view and review of history and interesting facts.

Trafalgar Square stop was a perfect time to find theatre and wander to Leister Square for a pre theatre lunch. Sweeney Todd was great. My first trip to London in 1995 we saw Sunset Boulevard at the Adelphi. It was so disappointing seeing something so American in London. The absolute opposite this time in the same theatre. After the show I rejoined the hop on hop off bus and we journeyed down Fleet Street and the spot where the evil crimes took place was pointed out.

Last section of the tour was done in sunset light was yet another facet of London to experience. I have been pleasantly surprised with how well I have navigated this place solo. Now Paris will be a much greater test!
